U.S. Passport Regulations

As of June 1st, 2010 all US citizens traveling to mexico must have a US passport or 2 forms of identification, one of them must be a valid US birth certificate and the other a valid photo ID.

US Passport Application Requirements:

• 2 recent color 2 x 2 inch photos
• An original US birth certificate
• Drivers license or photo ID
• A DS11 form

Fee’s and Processing Time:

• The US Passport Booklet fee is $135.00
• The US Passport Card fee is $55.00
• To get the Book and Card together is $165.00
• Processing times are estimated at 4-6 weeks
• Expedited Service processing times take 2-3 weeks.
