Dr. Palmira Morales is Clinic’estetica’s Medical Director and chief physician, Dr. Palmira Morales. Dr. Morales attended one of the most rigorous medical schools in Mexico in Guadalajara where she devoted 100% effort to her studies. Dr. Morales holds a Degree of Aesthetic Medicine from the UNAM of Mexico. Living in a dorm without the emotional support of her family was difficult, but fostered a sense of independence and the importance of responsibility. During medical school, Dr. Morales was initially drawn to oncology after meeting some oncologists who seemed to not have the slightest idea of how to deliver bad news to patients, cared about providing other treatment options, or thought about the value of giving hope to the patients. But, her path in life led her in another direction. How Dr. Morales arrived at aesthetic medicine is a mystery, even to her. She relates “I only know that it was not by chance. From the very first patient whom I worked with, I could feel the passion that this area of medicine generated in me, especially to see how the cosmetic and reconstructive treatments can improve the quality of life for each of my patients.
